Goals, topics and information

We will explain the modern structured workflow of ELITECAD using simple 2D/3D examples. Using that knowledge, you will learn how to quickly and efficiently create 3D BIM models.

Previous experience

General computer skills are sufficient. Previous experience in ELITECAD is not required.

One full day 9am to 5pm (including 1 hour lunch break)

Workshop price incl. tax is due before course. Free cancelation until 5 days before the workshop, otherwise full amount is due.
Equipment

You will work on your own laptop with a free ELITECAD AR14 demo version installed (download here). Upon request we can also provide a workstation for you.

Introduction

BIM introduction and workshop overview (program workflow, philosophy and functionality of ELITECAD, user interface, etc.)
Model control

Rotation, zooming and moving a model
2D construction

Working with help geometry, lines, polygons, rectangles, etc.
Interfaces

Importing data via interfaces eg. DXF/DWG, PDF, SketchUp, pixel graphics etc.
Projects

From a small project to a structure with several storeys in only a few steps
Management

Intelligent management for storeys, views and layers (overview and functionality)
3D model

Intuitive creation of 3D models with architectural components (floors, walls, girders, doors, windows, roofs, etc.)
Plans

Planning states / representation levels / level of detail (LOD), standard depiction for design, construction project, working drawing and individual plan depiction
Data backup
